    Good Civilian Grade MRE

    Falls short of military MRE, was disappointed when I discovered it did not contain a proper cracker or bread: instead two small table crackers. Main entree is great. Cookie is acceptable. Strike Bar definitely elevates this meal. Overall good calorie count for an emergency. Needs creamer for coffee and a larger jelly or peanut butter option and a large cracker or bread. Could also include a instant beverage powder. These will be very good for my kids who will eat this versus the military MRE due to the menu options: taco filling, beef stew, sloppy joe, chorizo chicken, and several chili options: all good main entrees for kids. It's not suitable for combat patrol but makes a nice meal for picky eaters. Instant coffee is the best but sadly no creamer... ):
