Description
The Faxon Firearms Type 1 7.62x39mm bolt assembly is built for hard use with a durable 9310 tool steel bolt and a QPQ salt bath nitride finish for increased surface hardness and corrosion resistance. Each bolt is magnetic particle inspected (MPI) and receives full MIL-SPEC heat treatment with MIL-SPEC shot peening to help ensure strength and long service life. Reliability-focused details like 45-degree chamfered lug backs and an installed extractor spring, insert, and Crane O-ring help support consistent cycling in demanding conditions.
