For shotguns its great
I believe I screwed up in the past buying the "upgraded" Viper for my rifles, especially in smaller calibers (.22Lr, .223/5.56), as they can give hell when pulling through small bores. But with this shotgun Viper boresnake......well no such problems and all that ends up happening is getting a mirror shine in your bore. Great item FOR SHOTGUNS
