Grand Power P40L 10mm

First of all I would like to thank Global Ordinance for a great purchasing experience. Easy website to use, good prices and fast shipping. I will definitely be buying from you again. As for the gun, it's a great purchase. Comfortable in the hand , light but also heavy. It's hard to describe, like it has the perfect balance between them. The trigger is awesome. It better than my Tanfoglio which is a great pistol. Accurate as anything I've ever shoot. Just fun to shot. Definitely be checking out more Grand Power pistols in the future. Thanks

I was looking for my third 10 mm handgun. The previous two I have sold because of recoil or hand grip ergonomics. Then I ran across reviews about the grand power line of firearms. I find my P40L to be an outstanding pistol! The best 10 mm I have fired let alone owned to date. The grip fits very nicely and comfortably in my hands. I have fired brass and aluminum rounds testing the handgun. Love it love it love it! The rotating barrel does make a slight difference in felt recoil. I was comparing it to a Smith & Wesson m&p 10 mm. It also was shooting accurately out to 25 yards at my local range. Factory sites I find acceptable but I was brought up on three dot sights. Highly recommend to other shooters who wish to own and shoot a 10 mm handgun. This one is a keeper for me. The Smith & Wesson 10 mm I am going to sell. Thank you Grand Power for a wonderful firearm. This is now my third GP handgun and I may purchase one or two more. Looking forward to the Mark 23 line becoming available in the United States. Grand Power firearms. You must try one!

I like this pistol very much. Very well made with a clean finish. I have disassembled it several times to verify the fit and finish and took it to the range today. I only shot 50 rounds. It is the first 10mm I have ever shot and did not know what to expect. I decided I like it very much. It was comfortable and controllable. My shots at 30 feet grouped into a 5 inch circle centered 3 inches left of the bullseye at 9 o'clock. I am glad it has an adjustable rear sight. I wish it had a larger front sight with tritium.

I really couldn't be more pleased with the price and performance. The ergonomics are excellent overall. It feels great in the hand and gives excellent control. I would prefer a larger manual safety but Grand Power does have larger ones which I think can be used on this model, but the stock one works fine. Recoil is indeed subsantially less than other 10mm's of comparable weight. Very shootable. Do be aware when purchasing that the slide goes forward automatically on inserting a loaded mag on some or all of these. I've been assured this is normal for the model. Also be aware it may take time for the magazines to soften up enough to hold all 14 rounds. You may get only 12 rounds with a magazine loader and new mags. I am entirely happy with the customer service I received on this point when asking about it, and overall am very pleased with Grand Power and with Global Ordnance. Very recommended.
