Description

The Spike's Tactical HPT/MPI M16 Bolt Carrier Group for .223/5.56 NATO features a Mil-Spec 8620 tool steel M16 bolt carrier with shrouded firing pin. The carrier has a MIL-STD-171 phosphate finish inside and out with a MIL-STD-171 hard chrome bore. It is 100% compatible with AR15, M16, and M4 rifles. The bolt is made from 158 Carpenter steel or 9310 depending on supply, and is shot peened, high pressure tested, and magnetic particle inspected. The gas key is properly staked with Grade 8 hardware, extractor spring upgraded with a Viton O-ring for increased tension. Assembled BCG weighs 11.6 oz and the firing pin has a hard chrome finish.
