Description
The High Ride Beavertail Grip Safety will improve the comfort and controllability of your 1911 Auto by positioning your shooting hand closer to the plane of the bore while spreading recoil over a broad rounded surface. It features a raised Posi-Release tab for quick disengagement and grip memory, and a hammer pocket to allow commander or bobbed spur hammers to sit snag-free when cocked. Frame modification is required for installation, and a fitting jig (part #402) is recommended for precise fitting. Installation by a professional gunsmith is strongly recommended.
