The Sierra® BlitzKing® selected for this load is designed for explosive expansion in varmints and small game with the accuracy of the MatchKing® bullets. The nose of the Sierra® BlitzKing® projectile is made of an acetyl resin compound, and the sharp tip improves ballistic coefficient over small hollow point projectiles. The 55gr variant used in this cartridge features a boat tail to further increase the ballistic coefficient compared to flat-base design bullets of the same weight.
