Description
The fourth-generation Police 4 Lightweight combines the classic features of the original Police design with the advantages of lightweight, injection-molded handle construction. Raising the bar even higher, this expression of it enhances the design with the American-made SPY27 blade steel. Exclusive to Spyderco, CPM SPY27 blade steel. Exclusive to Spyderco, CPM SPY27 supercharges the cobalt-enriched chemistry of VG-10 stainless steel with niobium, nitrogen, and increased volumes of carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium to offer an exceptional balance of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. This knife's satin finish, full-flat ground PlainEdge blade takes full advantage of these properties and is paired with a lightweight fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle molded in a distinctive cobalt blue - one of the signature handle colors of their elite SPY27 family of knives. The handle also houses the knife's sturdy back lock mechanism, skeletonized stainless steel liners, and a four-position pocket clip that provides a choice of left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry.
