Description

The acclaimed K100 series, known for its distinctive rotating barrel mechanism, welcomes the P45L in the iconic .45 ACP caliber, further enriching the Grand Power lineup. Constructed on the latest Mk12 polyamide frame, featuring an innovative steel dismantling catch, the P45 introduces a sturdier handle, heightened reliability, and simplified field stripping. With a curved slide reminiscent of classic .45 caliber aesthetic, this pistol offers exceptional handling and ergonomic design, standing out in appearance. In comparison to competitors, the P45 incorporates the legendary Grand Power rotating barrel design, overall enhancing performance by mitigating recoil. Its control elements are tailored for both left and right-handed shooters, ensuring versatility. The P45L variant boasts an extended barrel for improved accuracy, while the added mass reduces recoil and shifts the center of gravity toward the muzzle, effectively minimizing muzzle lift. This blend of innovation and classic design elevates the P45L as a formidable addition to the K100 series, combining aesthetics with functional enhancements for an outstanding shooting experience.

    Light recoiling 45.

    Posted by J F on Apr 4th 2021

Awesome gun. The Good: Thanks to the rotating barrel , this is a extremely light recoiling gun. The trigger in both double and single action is amongst the best I have ever felt out the box on any DA/SA gun. The grip contours excellent to the hand and just "feels right," and that is with me having medium sized hands. The sights, while a simple 3 dot affair, are good. The Bad: This gun is big. It has the length of a government model 1911 and the width of a Sig P220, so you will have to work to get it to conceal well. The grip, while it is very ergonomic, lacks enough grip texture to hold the hand in place. A set of Traction grips or skateboard tape will fix this issue though. The reassembly of the gun can be a PITA, but there are plenty of youtube videos showing a simple trick to make reassembly simple and after a few times, it becomes second nature. Bottom Line: You wont regret buying this gun or any Grand Power.
