Description
The Q1, a compact iteration stemming from our successful Q100 striker-fire model, caters to concealed carry in both civilian and professional realms. A striker-fired semi-automatic pistol, the Q1 boasts a smooth flat trigger for precise shots even in high-stress situations. Its trigger incorporates an autonomous safety mechanism, eliminating the need for manual engagement. Augmenting safety, an automatic feature prevents accidental discharges. In line with GRAND POWER’s design philosophy, the Q1 employs a unique barrel rotation locking mechanism, reducing recoil, enhancing accuracy, and minimizing muzzle flip. The Q1’s barrel rotation, achieved through a combination of a rolling pin and a specially curved surface, ensures reliability even in harsh conditions, fortifying resilience against failures. Crafted with excellence, the Q1 features a polymer grip housing a steel insert, constituting the frame. State-of-the-art technology and top-notch materials extend to other components, such as the slide machined from a single piece of steel and the bushing-less bull barrel. Fully ambidextrous controls and 3 interchangeable backstraps cater to diverse user preferences. Whether seeking a concealable everyday carry or a reliable service firearm, the Q1 stands out for its excellent range performance, making it an ideal choice.

Typical grand power accuracy in a compact package.

Grand Power Q1 MK 12
This is my second Grand Power pistol. I love my K100 so I wanted to try a striker version. What a steal for $299.00! Mine came with a Mk 23 style rear sight so I was even happier when I opened the box. The trigger is easily the best in its class. Super accurate, reliable, and fun to shoot! My new favorite.

Q1
Outstanding pistol. Rotating barrel allows quick follow up shots. Worked flawlessly with all types of ammo. Sights will be replaced as soon as I can find a fiber optic front sight for it.

Still a Winner
Don't let the age of this model fool you, it does possess the same 2nd Gen improvements that graced the Q100... namely the blackened barrel, improved flat bladed trigger and upgraded accessories kit which does include three 15 rnd mags, backstraps, alternate front sight, cleaning brush and courtesy trigger lock. This is the LOWEST price you will find even used and.... sorry to say this guys, but at less than half the cost, this OG version is a better value than the new MK23!

Q1 Mk 12 is good to go!
As a longtime Grand Power fan I wanted to pick up another of the Mk 12 models at a discounted price before they’re no longer available. I’m very happy with it and performance at the range was great, just like my other Grand Power models. Highly recommend!

This is the best gun I ever owned. Very accurate

Rotating Barrel
I just picked the Q1 up from my FFL, so haven't shot it yet. Trigger feels good, though the over travel is a little long, but it is perfect for a defensive weapon. The grip seems a little slick, as I prefer more abrasive feel. Nothing a little grip tape can't fix. Great gun though. Are the sights compatible with ant other gun, someone said the CZ 75 aftermarket sights work for the front but wasn't sure about the rear?

Grand Power Q1
I bought this, for several reasons. I'M LEFT HANDED. In capital letters for emphasis, because Glock and other firearms manufacturers seem to think we are such a minority in the population, that a right handed gun with a 'swappable' mag release is good enough for us. Nope. These are the only guns I know of, that are fully ambi out of the box! Kudos, Grand Power. Second reason, is due to the glowing reviews from Graham Baates on GBGuns. He loves Grand Powers. For a gun guy that shoots everything to favor one maker, that tells me all I need to know. This gun shoots flat, and accurately. I was surprised that the slide length was the same as my Canik TP9 SF compact. I realized I could have bought a Q100. SO I DID, now I own two Grand Powers. I think these are the best gun value there is. Only two negatives- the mag release button, operating from either side, is stiff. I'd also like to see these available with tritium night sights as an option. My next handgun, is likely another Grand Power.

My new EDC
I was very impressed with the accuracy of this model. It is my first GP hand gun (I also recently purchased a Stribog SP9A3 and wow...) and it out performed my Canik TP9 SC, Hellcat Pro, Glock 19, P80 PFS9, and Glock 43X. It was in par with my performance center shields (I have 2) - maybe slightly better right out of the box .5" groupings on the bullseye at 7 yards. It took me a little to put it back together after running my first 100 rounds of aluminum case ammo (Blazer) but no biggie once you get the design. Maybe it's premature to switch to it as my EDC but everything about this model feels so right! I might carry a secondary for a bit until I put it through some additional tests.

Q1
Wow, what a bargain! I bought this gun on the Black Friday special. It had been on the outskirts of my radar for a while, and the sale brought it front and center. I really wish I hadn't waited so long, but I'm extremely glad I finally got one. Just added a little oil right of the box and ran mag after mag. After a couple hundred rounds, I can definitively say that this is one of the most slept-on secrets in the pistol world. The rotating barrel helps to tame recoil, and the trigger allows for fast and consistent shots. Double- and triple-taps are effortless as this gun only knows one speed: wide open. It punches well above its price point, and shoots even better than many striker-fired pistols from major manufacturers. The only thing I'd change would be to add a little more texture to the grip, bit with this gun being geared toward concealed carry, the current texture is perfect for that. Overall, I would buy this gun time and time again after this experience.
