Okay for Plinking, Wouldn't Trust with my Life Though

Posted by John on Mar 26th 2021

I could only get it to reliably function full but seems to do alright with 15 rounds or less. Letting the slide go forward on a full mag actually ruined a round of ammunition because it somehow managed to get stuck in between the slide and the barrel extension instead of going into the barrel. I was amazed, it was like a stove pipe but with an unfired round. I found the mag good for plinking and if my backup mag needs a backup I guess it could be used for that as all malfunctions i have had so far cleared easily and it's better to have an extra backup magazine than no magazine, but if i had to pick between a canik mag that comes with the gun or this for a self defense situation I am picking the canik one

    Promag Canik TP9

Not impressed. Lot of machining marks. It looks used. No holes to see how many rounds in the magazine. Will seriously consider not buying Promag mags next time I need extra magazines if all the quality is poor. If you want some secondary mags that you can throw away after a couple years, than these are it. I prefer a bit more higher quality.

Perfect fit for my Canik. I needed an additional magazine and the price was awesome.
