The Hunter Lite Ruger American Short Action is a purpose-built hunting stock that is designed for Ruger American and Ruger American Gen II rifles chambered in short-action calibers. The Hunter Lite streamlines the design of the original Hunter Stocks, reducing the weight and size to provide a fully featured upgrade for those wanting a hunting rifle that won't weigh them down during extended outdoor pursuits. The result is a stock that weighs approx. 2 lbs., 6 oz. or almost 25 percent less than the Hunter American Stock, with a forend that's almost 25 percent narrower than the original.
