I wanted a Grand Power from being a huge fan of Beretta PX4s. I bought the X-Cal under the recommendation of Graham Bates of GBGuns (giving a shout out). It took some getting used to with the large safety levers and the VERY light single action. But after a few magazines, I saw the potential of this pistol. This thing will make the mediocre of shooters look good on the range. Size wise, it's closer to 8" at length. Not exactly a concealed carry contender unless you carry Glock 34s or Beretta 92FSs. Very similar size (Handgun Hero is wrong). This pistol is just weird. It's long. it's heavy for a polymer pistol and the barrel rattles when the slide is back.However, super solid and VERY balanced and accurate. But overall I absolutely love this pistol.

Awesome handgun made for competition shooting, but I like it for range shooting. High quality and rotating barrel. I couldn't wait for the MK23 because the price was so good on this model.

Best kept secret. I was very skeptical, I contemplated on this for weeks because I have not heard of this brand before seeing it at this site. I put 100 rounds so far, no hangups of any kind. It SHOOTS FLAT. It is as accurate as you are. Very impressed with this so much so that I went back and ordered a K100. FYI, this is an Elliason rear sight, it will not take the optic plates, those are for the dovetail sights. I learned this the hard way.

Great pistol! Very accurate with a really nice trigger right out of the box. The take up is not too long with a crisp break, but the reset could be a bit shorter.

I have already purchased the Q100, K100 and P40L (10mm). Extremely impressed with the grand power line of firearms. The X-calibur met and exceeded my expectations. I own a Canik Rival SFX, Canik TP9 SFX and Canik Mete SFX Pro. So I have various handguns to compare with the grand power. The grand power did not disappoint! A pleasure to shoot! This is difficult to describe unless you actually compare but I find the slide action of the grand power to be slightly smoother than with other semi-auto handguns I own. The Xcalibur is definitely a competition level firearm. I definitely recommend the he purchase this and the other Grand Power firearms I have mentioned..

Ever since I heard that the Gran Power had a rotating barrel I wanted to try one out. Well I did more than try I bought one the Xcaliber! I was amazed at the build quality and lioks but what really got me was how nice the trigger and reset were. Then I took it shooting and it officially became my favorite handgun in my arsenal. Do yourself a favor and try one out you won't be disappointed.

This is my first Grand Power and it will not be my last! Great ergonomics - 4 wrap-around backstraps included, so you can find just the right fit. Really great trigger. Light (in a very good way) SA and smooth DA. Great finishing. This is a thing of beauty. Nice machining, serrations & Slide cuts are ideal. Fluted bull barrel is very nice. The rotating barrel action makes for very manageable recoil. I was nailing the targets my first time out with this. Quickly moved to the top of my list as my favorite. Need an optics-ready version available in the USA though!

These are one of the best kept secrets in the handgun world today. Supremely accurate with what is possibly the shortest reset of any manufactured pistol. Single action is wonderfully light and double, smooth and predictable. Global has been the best distributor the US has ever had in it's support of grand power products. Both pricing and availability have been great. These pistols are quite capable of out performing any thousand dollar pistol you know of. Buy one and test my theory!

Purchased this X-Calibur a few months ago. After shooting the Berretta PX4 which has a rotating barrel I search for a few months looking for pistols that use the same mechanism. When I came across Grand Power, a manufacture that make rotating barrel handguns, the X-Calibur was an immediate hit for me. I received it in August, and it has been a joy to shoot with. Great handgun easy to shoot and it looks amazing in person. High end finishes, Nicely balanced in the hand with Excellent ergonomics, Very refined pistol. it's not the easiest gun to take a part for cleaning but after a few times it was no concerns whatsoever.
